Biography

Dan Ruskin is a celebrated piano player, songwriter, and humorist with a career spanning decades. He began as a teenage TV host in Miami and later moved to New York City, where he worked as a song plugger for Chappell Music and as an actor in movies, TV, and commercials. Ruskin has been featured on BBC America and has written columns for Sheet Music Magazine, The Daily Feed, and Roll Call. He has performed in various venues, including his floating piano bar, and appeared in revues such as “A Political Party,” “Cross Your Fingers,” and “Yestermorrow.” Dan has performed at The White House, the Embassies of Britain, The United Arab Republic, Argentina and Germany, London’s Eleven O’Clock Spot, New York’s El Morocco and Waldorf Astoria Hotel and Washington’s Mayflower and Shoreham Hotels. Additionally, Ruskin is a voice-over actor who has made appearances on Broadway, TV, and in films. He has also served as a vocal coach at Carnegie Hall and a rehearsal pianist at Radio City Music Hall.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
